EAST bounding down; Loaded up & Trucking

So long 8410 6th Ave NW. So long friends. So long Seattle. So long Pacific North West (I think it should be Pacific North WET).
After we finished dialing in the house to sell, I’m still not sure why we started a new project, but we did. Our thoughts were that once we sold our house we would start our journey back to East Coast & see America, enjoy a cross-country trip. The ideas of being closer to family & hopefully more opportunities fueled this notion. Liking nature & traveling it seemed liked camping would be a good idea. Better yet; camping in a vintage travel trailer. No tents to break down or put up, nothing to blow up, unfold, unzip. Just find a spot & hook-up.
So we started looking all over Washington & Oregon for a good travel trailer to start with. We bought a 1963 Aladdin Travel Trailer-Model 15. Aladdin’s slogan was: “The Magic Carpet Ride” so we named our trailer Gene - short for Genie. If it wasn’t for the grace of God we wouldn’t have VK, & if it wasn’t for VK Gene wouldn’t be rolling down the road behind us. There’s more to this story & we’ve got it pretty well documented.
